New Pallet Racking

Pallet Racking has been in use since the 1920’s and evolved from the invention of the first forklift in 1915.

This allowed warehouses to build upward rather than outward.

Today Selective Pallet Racking is the most basic and cost effective way of storing palletized goods effectively and efficiently.

Selective Racking is the most common form of Pallet Racking in Australia and is normally configured using 838mm wide frames.

This frame width is to allow for the Australian Standard Pallet size of 1165mm x1165mm to nest correctly in between the cross beams of the racking system.

New Pallet Racking Frames

Our frames are DEXION Equivalent and use the 76.2mm pitch upright.

This allows the beam heights to be adjusted to the exact required pallet height and this pitch is the most common in the Australian marketplace over the last 30 years.

The upright profile of 90mm x 67mm x 2.0mm and a HD foot plate spec is applied to all our Pallet Racking frames.

This ensures our frames not only meet & exceed AS4084 standards but have an 11,000kg+ bay load rating allowing for multiple beam levels of the same capacity throughout the system.

All FRAMES are sold in UN-assembled component form, this is for freight cost purposes.
Frames can be Assembled by us for a small labour fee and shipped if required.
Other frame heights and upright profiles available upon request.
4x Floor fixings ( Dyna Bolts ) per frame are included with all Pallet Racking frames supplied.
Upright PRS can arrange an Installation of a Pallet Racking System using our trusted licensed installers.
A Safe Working Loads SWL sign is required to be completed and attached to all newly installed racking runs.

New Pallet Racking Beams

Cross beams are normally configured using a 2591mm beam (8.5 ft or 102 inches).

This beam width is to allow for 2x Australian Standard Pallets to rest side by side and have the correct clearances between them.

Cross beams are made from mild steel and are folded into a box shape and powder coated.

Our box beams have a per pair maximum capacity of 2000kg – 3000kg this is to suit a pallet weight of up to 1000kg – 1500kg.

All BEAMS are supplied with 2x safety locking clips included in the cost of the beam.
